Are Reporting to the Executive Director of Portfolio FP&A, the
Director – Clinical FP&A will play a critical role in shaping
the company's clinical strategy, driving financial planning through
insightful analysis, and supporting decision-making processes
across the clinical portfolio. This position offers an exciting
opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the
Portfolio FP&A team and of BridgeBio Responsibilities Financial
Strategy & Planning: Lead the development and management of
comprehensive financial models for clinical development programs,
including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
Serve as the primary finance business partner to leaders across all
Clinical Functions Provide financial insights to inform clinical
development strategy, resource allocation, and prioritization of
projects Collaborate across the Clinical organization to define key
financial drivers, timelines, and milestones for clinical trials
Develop a suite of metrics and analytics to enable swift scenario
analysis and strategic decision support Budgeting & Forecasting:
Regularly update forecasts to reflect the evolving needs of
clinical trials and adjust projections based on actual performance,
risk, and opportunity assessments while ensuring all functions are
leveraging a “single source of truth.” Provide key input to NPV and
ROI analysis for program decisions and stage gates Serve as a key
member of the team implementing a new clinical trial forecasting &
accrual tool for the company Financial Analysis & Reporting:
Conduct in-depth financial analysis of clinical development costs,
evaluating variances and ensuring that financial performance aligns
with business objectives Provide insightful and actionable
financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting key trends,
risks, and opportunities within the clinical development portfolio
Present financial recommendations to senior management based on
data-driven analysis Develop models and gather data to streamline
our “storytelling” and to create internal benchmarks
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the subject matter expert
across the clinical organization and provide data-backed guidance
and strategic decision support Work closely with stakeholders
across the Clinical organization, accounting, outsourcing, and
others to integrate financial considerations into clinical trial
design and execution and ensure transparency into spend Support
cross-functional teams in identifying cost-saving opportunities,
improving efficiencies, and optimizing the financial performance of
clinical programs Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and
improve the financial planning, accrual, and reporting processes
and tools, and systems related to clinical development Implement
best practices in financial modeling, reporting, and budget
management to streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy and
transparency Risk Management & Compliance: Assess and manage
financial risks associated with clinical trials, ensuring proper
mitigation strategies are in place, including providing key
oversight to the accrual process for certain vendors Ensure that
financial activities comply with industry standards, regulatory
requirements, and internal policies Team Leadership and Development
Come forward as a leader on the team, fostering a culture of
excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning Provide
leadership and guidance to team members, empowering them to drive
impactful results and achieve their professional development goals
Where You'll Work This is a hybrid role and requires in-office
collaboration 2-3x per week in our San Francisco Office. Who You
Are Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related
field; MBA or CPA preferred 8 years of progressive experience in
financial planning and analysis, with a focus on corporate finance
and strategic planning Extensive experience in the biotech or
pharmaceutical industry, with a deep understanding of industry
dynamics and financial drivers as well as all stages of clinical
development Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in
forecasting techniques, scenario analysis, and valuation
methodologies Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track
record of effectively leading and developing high-performing teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability
to distill complex financial concepts into clear and actionable
insights Strategic mindset with a results-oriented approach,
coupled with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced
environment This position is based at our corporate headquarters in
San Francisco, with occasional travel as needed Experience with
Condor Software and a track record of leveraging AI/ML to enable
clinical trial forecasting and variance analysis is preferred You
have demonstrated curiosity and adaptability in adopting AI-powered

benefits. Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for
this role who will work in California. The final salary offered to
a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may
include but are not limited to the type and length of experience
within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry,
educational background, location of residence and performance
during the interview process. BridgeBio is a multi-state employer,
and this salary range may not reflect positions based in other
states. Salary $170,400 - $252,600 USD As a global company, our
