A part-time Physical Therapist (PT) position is available in Newark, NJ, offering 15-20 hours per week within a school setting on a contract basis. This role requires a New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) certification and involves providing physical therapy services to students to support their educational and developmental needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized physical therapy assessments and treatments to students in accordance with their educational goals. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement therapy plans. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy interventions as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, evaluations, and student progress. Participate in team meetings regarding student well-being and therapy outcomes. Qualifications and Experience: Valid NJDOE certification as a Physical Therapist. Experience working in school-based physical therapy preferred. Ability to manage caseload while providing personalized care in a school environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators and families.
