For more information, visit www.sitime.com . -Job SummaryThe Principal Product Validation Engineer will lead and contribute to productization of SiTime's revolutionary timing devices. In this highly visible role, we are looking for passionate, self-starters who can work cross-functionally to ensure system-level performance of our products and help solve the world's toughest timing problems. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.Responsibilities:

  • Grow and lead a team of engineers responsible for validation, characterization, and release-to-production of MEMS-based timing products.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams, vendors, and manage projects across different sites.
  • Plan and execute device verification and characterization.
  • Work with MEMS and circuit design teams to evaluate new silicon and recommend design improvements for enhanced performance.
  • Design, develop, and validate PCB test platforms and firmware to enable automated data acquisition & analysis.
  • Develop and transfer algorithms to final test and production environments.
  • Perform engineering failure analysis to root cause product issues.
  • Innovate and prototype system architectures and new technologies for next-generation products.Qualifications & Requirement:
    • MS or PhD in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Exceptional candidates with other backgrounds will be considered.
    • 10+ years of experience in the productization of semiconductor sensor-based devices
    • Experience leading engineering project teams and creating and executing verification and characterization plans.
    • Strong, fundamental knowledge of mixed signal circuits.
    • Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation. Prior experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters is preferred but not required.
    • Excellent programming skills and prior experience with MATLAB and/or Python.
    • Strong statistical analysis skills.Desired Characteristics & Attributes:
