together! Your Career Palo Alto Networks is looking for an
experienced finance professional to join its Ecosystems Finance
team as a Senior Finance Manager. You will provide business insight
and financial support to the SVP, Chief Partnerships Officer, who
owns the governance, strategy, and global programs for our various
Routes-to-Market, including via channel partners, global system
integrators, cloud service providers, managed security service
providers, and technology alliances. A successful candidate is a
self-starter with strong analytical skills, an effective
communicator, and a leader passionate for driving change in a
dynamic fast-paced environment. Your Impact:
- Be a trusted finance partner to the Partnerships leadership
team and drive execution of their business priorities
- Lead the monthly/quarterly close process including headcount
and expense management for the Partnerships org
- Conduct ad-hoc and what if analysis by working closely with
business leadership to evaluate investments and the launch of new
initiatives
- Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of the financial
results including variances to plan, ensuring key issues, risks,
and business drivers are understood and highlighted
- Lead analysis on business performance. Conduct insightful data
driven analysis to derive insights that will drive business
decisions and recommendations
- Improve operational excellence through identification and
execution of initiatives that create efficiency, remove obstacles,
or create improved processes and approaches to the business. This
includes identifying ways in which tools can be built and deployed
to improve workflows to drive automation, efficiency and increased
accuracy
- Identify, scope, and drive critical projects and initiatives
for -- partnering with -- cross-functional teams, including working
with data engineers to build data pipeline and warehouse
infrastructure to ensure all parties are able to use data with ease
and accuracy
- Build cross-functional relationships and lead through influence
to help solve complex interdisciplinary problems on behalf of the
business
- Collaborate as well as mentor colleagues in India, as we build
our offshore muscle. Your Experience
- 7-10 years, at-minimum, of prior finance experience. Prior
roles in Sales Finance, FP&A, and management reporting and
analytics required. Big 4 accounting experience or strategy
consulting, a plus.
- Prior experience working in Partners / Channel organization and
familiarity with Partner Programs are also mandatory.
- Experience in system implementations, UAT, process
improvements, and leading cross functional teams highly
desired.
- Bachelors in an analytical field (e.g. Business, Economics,
Accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related
field); advanced degree/MBA preferred
- Exceptional analytical and financial modeling abilities, adept
at conducting ad hoc analysis and extracting valuable business
insights. Power Excel user who is comfortable with large data
sets
- Effective presentation skills with the ability to communicate
complex topics in a distilled manner
- Experience with and/or willingness to master various financial
systems, including SAC, SAP, Tableau, Anaplan, and other BI
tools.
- Strong team player, and independent thinker, with high
intellectual and emotional intelligence
- Deadline-driven, organized, and able to multi-task with the
willingness to adapt to the rapid business and organizational
demands that result from a high-growth environment
- Ability to manage competing priorities with strong focus on

position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work
location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level,
the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary +
commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be
between $147,400/yr to $238,600/yr.The offered compensation may
