Position description
The Management of Complex Systems department in the School of
Engineering anticipates hiring multiple Readers for the below
courses for Summer 2025:
MIST 210: Integrated Capstone Project
MIST 211: Strategy: Regional and Global Perspectives
Other courses as needed

The Reader will be responsible for grading homework, quizzes, exams
as needed under the supervisor of the instructor. The position will
require up to a maximum of 18 hours per week.
The University of California Readers are represented by the

Qualifications
Basic qualifications
The Reader will have successfully completed the course or related
course they are appointed to as a Reader with a grade of "B" or
higher and be in good standing at the University with at least a
3.0 cumulative grade-point average (GPA). Readers will usually be
graduate students; but qualified undergraduate students may be
employed, especially when graduate students are not available.
Professional readers, not enrolled as students, may be employed to
meet special needs, but only on an hourly basis.
