Job Description Job Description Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) Location: Bakersfield, CA 93312 Position Type: Contract / Travel / Local Shift: Day Shift | 5×8 schedule Compensation Up to $2,400 gross weekly – Local Up to $2,800 gross weekly – Traveler Job Summary A reputable healthcare facility in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered therapy services. The ideal candidate will assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy programs that help patients regain independence and improve quality of life. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical and basic psychological assessments of patients Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans Assess patients’ home and work environments and recommend necessary modifications Advise on and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment for daily living Design and execute rehabilitation programs to restore functional skills Prepare patients for safe and successful return to work or daily activities Educate caregivers and family members on patient care and therapy techniques Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and therapy outcomes Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge and best practices in occupational therapy Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and standards Required Experience Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience Education & Licensure High school diploma or higher education (required) Active California State License as an Occupational Therapist (required) For more details reach at ukhan@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 518-862-1204.
