Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team, providing unmatched rehabilitation and therapy services at our inpatient facilities. Our Occupational Therapists play a pivotal role in facilitating rapid recovery and improving the overall quality of life for patients recovering from serious injuries and illnesses. This role requires an individual passionate about patient care, adept at employing therapeutic techniques to maximize patient independence in daily living activities. Evaluate patient conditions and develop effective therapy treatment plans. Implement patient therapy interventions to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. Document patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly. Educate patients and families on post-hospital care programs and strategies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Proficiency in using therapeutic equipment and technology. Skills in patient evaluation and exercise implementation. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state Occupational Therapy license. NBCOT certification preferred.
