Performance Foodservice, a leader in food distribution, is seeking a dedicated CDL Class A Driver to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely delivery of over 150,000 food and related products nationwide to a diverse portfolio of customers, including family-owned eateries and large restaurant chains. The ideal candidate will possess a strong dedication to safety, exceptional driving skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Operate a Class A truck in accordance with company safety policies and procedures. Deliver products accurately and on time to various customer locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety. Load and unload cargo, verifying loads against shipping papers. Maintain logbooks according to state and federal regulations. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules. Ability to navigate various electronic log systems. Proficient in managing time effectively for timely deliveries. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
