As a member of Apple Cloud Services Catalyst team, you will partner with like minded Apple internal customers: Pay, iCloud, Music, TV, Maps, News, FaceTime, Siri and more to delivery the best customer experience. The Catalyst team serves as the central point for customer support and communications. We are looking for a highly motivated Communications Engineer who has the skills and experience to support Apple's largest internal customers.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in supporting large scale distributed applications and web services
  • Hands-on experience with open-source technologies such as Kubernetes, Prometheus, Docker, Spark, Kafka, etc.
  • Strong verbal/written skills with an ability to distill complex ideas into concise, high impact communications
  • Experience making pitches to senior leadership, up to and including VP level
  • Comfortable working with a very technical customer base
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical capabilities

Description

In this position, you will drive communications to the customers of Apple Cloud Services and you will be partnering with Technical Account Managers, Site Reliability Engineers, Customer Success and more. Maintain an ACS wide understanding of all impacting events, post incident reviews, problem management, change management and maintenance work. Develop and execute a communication strategy to ensure customers have accurate and timely understanding of the state of ACS managed service delivery. Create and drive process implementation and improvements along with new tool development in support of our customer needs. Participate in Incident Management, Post Incident reviews and other process in support of customer communication. Provide feedback loop to partners and other organizations within ACS for improved customer communication and service delivery.

Education & Experience

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
