IT delivers world class service and support for Asanas
everywhere. Our goal is to provide systems and technology that
enable collaboration, unlock creativity, and help to power our
teams across the globe. You will be joining Asana as an experienced
leader eager to manage and expand our IT Infrastructure team,
stationed in our vibrant San Francisco office. In this role, you'll
manage operations across our global network infrastructure,
focusing on evolving the technologies that sustain our global
offices. Collaborate closely with the IT Support and Corporate
Security teams, guiding the AV Engineering pillar and shaping the
future of Asana's IT landscape.This role is based in our San
Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The
standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most
Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working
from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the

requirements.What you'll achieve:
- Lead and nurture a team of Network, Systems, and AV Engineers,
focusing on growth and performance.
- Spearhead Asana's internal systems and data networks from
conception to implementation, ensuring performance and
scalability.
- Continuously analyze and enhance internal IT infrastructure to
accommodate Asana's global expansion.
- Empower IT team members by delivering targeted training,
enhancing their networking and AV capabilities.
- Drive forward Asana's global office expansion, including
travelling to support new initiatives.
- Cultivate and manage robust partnerships with ISPs and data
circuit providers, enhancing service delivery.
- Collaborate seamlessly with IT Systems Engineering and
Corporate Security to streamline operations and troubleshoot
issues.About you:
- 5 - 7 years of experience with managing engineering teams and
key network infrastructure elements.
- Experience in handling network hardware, including but not
limited to Cisco, Meraki, and Juniper, ensuring robust network
operations.
- Skilled in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and static
routing, providing reliable WAN and corporate Internet access.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing MDF/IDF
infrastructure to ensure operational readiness.
- Strong track record in vendor relationship management,
optimizing partnerships to support infrastructure growth.
- Familiarity with network and systems monitoring tools like
Splunk and Nagios for effective system oversight.
- Able to excel both independently and collaboratively,
showcasing strong communication and documentation skills. At Asana,

estimated base salary range is between $218,00-$256,00. The actual
base salary will vary based on various factors, including market
and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the
interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the
base salary range for this role may be modified.In addition to base
salary, your compensation package may include additional components
such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and
