Job Description:
We're seeking an exceptional marketing professional to lead our
Startup community marketing efforts in the San Francisco area, to
develop high-impact marketing initiatives across the region for our
earliest stage customers. In this role, you’ll execute community
engagement activities to meet our customers where they are. Key job
responsibilities In this role, you’ll execute community engagement
activities to meet our customers where they are, across three focus
areas: 1/ technical immersion programs, 2/ Startup ecosystem reach
initiatives through strategic 3P event activation,
vertical-specific competitions, and formalized partnerships with
key accelerators and community hubs; and 3/ migration programs to
convert engaged founders into AWS customers. A successful Startup
Community Marketing Manager excels in strategic thinking, event
execution, and is adept at project prioritization in a fast-paced
environment. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial marketer
deeply immersed in the marketing and tech landscape, possessing an
innate understanding of the San Francisco startup community
including trends and topics that resonate with our customers and
understands how to meet our customers where they are. They thrive
on identifying opportunities, thinking big, taking ownership, and
are persistent in the pursuit of program execution, even in
complex, ever-evolving, and ambiguous contexts. This role requires
collaboration with the Startup marketing team and cross-functional
geo teams, a deep understanding of end-to-end program management,
and the ability to ideate fresh, new ideas that spark interest and
drive growth. Domestic travel is required. About the team The

of professional non-internship marketing experience - Experience
using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience with
Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot
tables) - Experience building, executing and scaling
cross-functional marketing programs - Experience communicating

integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that

the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base
pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest
geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic
market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market
location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills,
