What You'll Be Doing:Data Analytics

• Help create financial models and advanced analysis for budgeting and forecasting of our compensation investments.
• Expertise in visualization and using data insights to make recommendations and achieve goals.
• Experience using SQL and building dashboards.
• Annual and as needed ad-hoc market analysis. Review and build salary structures.
• Timely data analysis to support Cruise's Compensation and people practices.Program Management
• Proven ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects with great attention to detail.
• Lead parts of Annual Compensation Cycle including Workday/RedCat design requirements, data and load in Workday/RedCat and other systems.
• Assist in the design and delivery of compensation programs to drive employee transparency and build manager capability.Data And Technology Efficiency
• Perform regular data uploads, audits, and troubleshoot data and reports coming from HRIS (Workday) and other sources.
• Partner with People team, stock administration, HRIS, finance, and recruiting to understand needs and suggest ways to apply technology to increase process efficiency across all groups.
• Create tools and resources to drive customer capability and build to scale efforts.What You Must Have:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical experience (2-5 years experience in building financial models in excel or Google sheets. Tableau, SQL experience is a plus).
• Experience working with large sets of structured and unstructured data to draw trends and insights, using data visualization to present complex matters in an easy manner.
• Detail orientation while not losing track of the big picture, data cleanliness/integrity (must be a data maestro).
• Ability to build strong partnerships and confidence to communicate complex topics with ease effectively.
• Self-starter, with strong ability to work with minimal direction, build and execute effective project plans.
• Sense of urgency and time management.
• Strong work ethic and team-first attitude.
• Nice to have: Understanding of Compensation foundations; Experience with Workday/RedCat, Radford Market Data, Payfactors (or other similar tool).
