Swing Shift Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Position

We are looking for a skilled electro-mechanical maintenance engineer to join our team at the company in California. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining manufacturing machinery that involves electrical and mechanical components. You will also perform preventive and predictive maintenance on injection molding machines, ultrasonic welders, chillers, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, cable processing equipment, and other electrical related systems. You will use precision measuring instruments, metalworking machines, soldering equipment, and hand tools to assemble, test, calibrate, and repair parts and machines. You will also read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the method and sequence of assembly of a machine or a piece of equipment.



To qualify you need to have at least 10 years of experience in working with electro-mechanical systems and devices. You should be proficient in using a wide variety of tools and instrumentation such as DMM, ammeter, hand tools, power tools, and predictive maintenance tools. You should also have strong troubleshooting skills to improve machine performance. You should have attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience working with injection molding machines is a plus.
