Job Description:

Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support
elementary students in an engaging educational setting located in
Hilmar, CA. This assignment is designed for the current school year
(CSY) with a flexible end date, estimated between 6 to 12 weeks,
starting February 28th. The role offers 30 hours per week spread
across five days. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech therapy
services to students ranging from pre- kindergarten/transitional
kindergarten (Pre/TK) through 5th grade. Manage a caseload of
approximately 53 students: 34 in Pre/TK-2nd grade and 19 in 3rd-5th
grade. Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to
develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's
needs. Maintain accurate documentation and therapy progress reports
aligned with state guidelines and licensure requirements. Implement
evidence-based practices in a pediatric school setting to enhance
communication skills. Qualifications: Valid California Licensure as
a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) is required. Experience working in elementary
school or pediatric healthcare settings preferred. Strong
understanding of speech and language development in early childhood
through elementary ages. Effective communication and collaboration
skills with students, families, and educational professionals.
